The Alike app was our first step, a safe and inclusive space where you can find other people who understand what you’re going through,but that’s just the beginning.
We have ambitious longterm goals to use what we learn from the Alike app to guide policy and improve the social side of life with cancer.
As our network expands, we’ll continue to listen closely to the community, both online and in our everyday lives. It’s those voices that guide us at every turn.

Vibrant and Dynamic
Our community is made up of thousands of journeys from hundreds of locations, and it’s growing all the time. Alike is where we all find common ground, but it’s also a place that celebrates what makes us unique - be yourself here, and add your own personal splash of colour.
Inclusive, Safe, Welcoming
Alike is a place for everyone, regardless of their background, identity or where they are on their own personal journey. Every member of the cancer community has a voice, and we’re the space where they are encouraged to share it - loud and proud. You can do that with confidence here: we put every effort into making sure it’s a safe space that’s sheltered from the negativity found on other online platforms.
Future Facing
We’ve harnessed some of the most advanced technology available to keep Alike safe and reserved only for the cancer community, but all that flashy tech is a means to an end. We’re here to make cancer less lonely: It’s a big job, but the people at the heart of it are what keep us going… is that a little cliche? Maybe. But for Alike, it’s true.
